Ben Becker.

Moundridge, Kan., Oct. 12 — Ben Becker passed away Wednesday noon at his home near Hesston at the age of 57 years, 9 months and 12 days. After an illness of about six weeks.

The greater part of his boyhood life was spent in the Lonetree township where most of his relatives reside.

Funeral services were held at the meridian Church Sunday afternoon where a large crowd of about 800 gathered to pay the last respects to a good neighbor and farmer.

F. H. Wenger spoke from 2 Kings 20: 1. Interment was made in the Meridian Cemetery. Duff and Son of Newton were in charge. Moundridge Journal.
