Jacob J. Epp was born March 20, 1872, in Chortitza, South Russia. He was baptized in his youth by Elder Hein. Epp, and in his later life took an active part in the church work of his community.

IMMIGRANT FROM RUSSIA DIED RECENTLY AT VANCOUVER, BRIT. COLUMBIA

Vancouver, B. C. — Jacob J. Epp, one of the well known immigrants who came to Canada from Russia following World War I, died at the St. Paul hospital here Thursday, Dec. 7. Funeral services were held at the local Mennonite church on Dec. 10.

Jacob J. Epp was born March 20, 1872, in Chortitza, South Russia. He was baptized in his youth by Elder Hein. Epp, and in his later life took an active part in the church work of his community.
