Archbold, Ohio. — Triple funeral services were held at the Central Mennonite church near here Sept. 10 for Myrl Waidelich, 22, his wife Arlene, 23, and their two year old son, Gary Lynn, all of whom lost their lives in a truck accident north of Delaware, Ohio.

The Waldelichs were driving a truck with eight tons of fertilizer, following a similar truck driven by Marlin Rufenacht, 21, of Archbold, when a car transport coming from the opposite direction side-swiped the Rufenacht truck. The transport then careened into the path of the Waidelich truck and crushed the cab. The driver of the transport was seriously injured.

A large audience, estimated at 1,200 persons, attended the final services. Officiating ministers were E. B. Frey, Henry Wyse and Olen Nofziger.

The Waidelich family leaves a 13-month-old son Edward; Myrl’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Waidelich, and three brothers and three sisters; Mrs. Waidelich’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Frey, and her five brothers.

Three In One Family Die in Accident

TRIPLE SERVICES HELD AT ARCHBOLD, OHIO FOR PARENTS, ONE CHILD

Archbold, Ohio. — Triple funeral services were held at the Central Mennonite church near here Sept. 10 for Myrl Waidelich, 22, his wife Arlene, 23, and their two year old son, Gary Lynn, all of whom lost their lives in a truck accident north of Delaware, Ohio.
