Lydia Gable, age 76, died at her home in Newark Township, Michigan., Monday, November 27. She had been bedfast for nearly three years as the result of a fractured hip.

She suffered much, both mentally and physically, but God in His infinite mercy was pleased to call her home. She left the assurance that she was at peace with her Maker.

Funeral services were held at the Newark Mennonite church on Wednesday, November 29, Rev. Glenn Litwiller officiating. Burial in Greenwood cemetery by the side of her departed husband, Harvey Gable. those present from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Koehn and Emma Gable from Harrison; Mr. and Mrs. Dell Green and Alta Downing from Carland; Irene Westbrook and Georgia Haskins from Kalamazoo; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ledley from Lansing; Floyd Gable and many friends and relatives.

Lydia Gable

Lydia Gable, age 76, died at her home in Newark Township, Michigan., Monday, November 27. She had been bedfast for nearly three years as the result of a fractured hip.

She suffered much, both mentally and physically, but God in His infinite mercy was pleased to call her home. She left the assurance that she was at peace with her Maker.

Funeral services were held at the Newark Mennonite church on Wednesday, November 29, Rev. Glenn Litwiller officiating.
