+ | ● Funeral services for Miss Katie Wedel, 75, were held Monday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl church with Rev. Ronald Krehbiel officiating. She died Nov. 25 at the Salem Nursing Home, Hillsboro. A native of the Goessel community, she moved to Newton in 1957 and to the Bethesda Home at Goessel in June 1975. She had been transferred to the nursing home only a few weeks before her death. Surviving are one sister, Susie Regier of Newton, and one brother, Dr. D.C. Wedel of North Newton. |
