Brutally Murdered

According to a report in the Menno-Blatt, an immigrant named Schmalz of Volendam colony, village No. 3, was brutally murdered in his home by an unknown assailant on Oct. 19. Evidently beaten to death the man had 16 holes in his head.

Mrs. Schmalz, nee Duerksen, was in the hospital at the time. The couple were married in Berlin and came to Paraguay in 1947.
