The ''Messenger of Truth'' is the official organ of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite.  It began as a monthly four page supplement, 8 x 11 inches, to the ''Botschafter der Wahrheit'' in January 1903.  It has been published at different times in Hillsboro, Kansas, Ithaca, Michigan, Scottdale, Pennsylvania, Newton and Moundridge, Kansas.  Two volumes of indexes to baptisms, marriages, and obituaries have been published covering the years 1920 to 1979 and 1980 to 2000.  We plan to begin entering citations for obituaries only beginning with 1903.
