— A well-known resident of the Halstead, Kansas community, Jacob Krehbiel, passed away suddenly Nov. 18 while shoveling snow. For 17 years he had been sextant [''sic''] of the Halstead cemetery, and earlier had also lived at Moundridge, Kans. Funeral services were conducted at the First Mennonite church by Rev. L. A. Habegger. He was 73.
