— Funeral services for Peter H. Penner, 76, were to be held Thursday afternoon at the Bethel College chapel, with his pastor, Rev. Lester Hostetler, officiating. Mr. Penner, a resident of Newton since 1916, died suddenly of a heart attack Monday morning while in the garden at his home on Southeast Second street. He had been in ill health for some time. Survivors include his wife Elizabeth, and three daughters, Mrs. Wallace T. Hiebert of Lancaster, Calif., Mrs. Harold Barton of Burton, Wash., and Mrs. Jacob H. Lingenfelder of North Newton. | |||
