&#8212; A widely known pioneer of the Moundridge community, Jacob H. Regier, 86, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 3, at the Bethesda Hospital in Goessel. He had been in poor health for some time and in the Goessel hospital since Oct. 9. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the West Zion church, conducted by Rev. Alwin van der Smissen of Buhler and Rev. W. F. Unruh. Burial will be at the Hebron cemetery at Buhler. Grandfather Regier is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Wm. Schmidt, Moundridge; Mrs. J. J. Stepneck, Vancouver, Wash.; Mrs. Ben Klaassen, Hillsboro; Geo. L. W. Regier, Moundridge; John L. W. Regier, Hillsboro; Miss Katie L. W. Regier, Salem, Oregon; and Mary L. W. Regier, Moundridge. Also one brother and one sister survive, Frank Regier of Moundridge and Mrs. A. M Martens of Buhler.

— A widely known pioneer of the Moundridge community, Jacob H. Regier, 86, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 3, at the Bethesda Hospital in Goessel. He had been in poor health for some time and in the Goessel hospital since Oct. 9. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the West Zion church, conducted by Rev.
