ONTARIO YOUTH DROWNED WHEN HOMEMADE BOAT CAPSIZED IN RIVER

Milverton, Ont. — Funeral services were held here recently for Irvin Brubacher, 19, a member of the Old Order Mennonite church, who drowned as a result of a boating accident on the Conestoga river June 6.

The youth and six other young men were thrown into the river when their homemade rowboat overturned a short distance above the Hawkesville Dam, 25 feet from the fiver bank.
