— Funeral services were held at the Fairview Conservative A. M. church, Kalona, Iowa on March 29 for Ezra Bontrager, 31, who lost his life in a railroad crossing accident in Germany on Feb. 28. He had been stationed with the armed services at Heidelberg for the past six years. Survivors include his father, Emanuel E. Bontrager of Middlebury, Ind., and a number of brothers and sisters.
