Mr. Dueck was born on Juiy 20, 1934, in Gem, Alberta. He received the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour as a young boy, and was baptized and received into the fe1lowship of the Mennonite Brethren Church at Gem. After a year of Bible School he went to Brooks, Alberta where he began a career in banking. Later be came to Calgary and was employed as an auditor for the Federal Government.

After a year of Bible School he went to Brooks, Alberta where he began a career in banking. Later he came to Calgary and was employed as an auditor for the Federal Government.  


On June 2, 1963 he was united in marriage to Kathryn Willms of Gem. On January 28, 1966, he underwent surgery for a malignant brain tumor. Only a partial, very brief, recovery followed. On May 9, 19S6, at 9:45 p.m. he slipped away quietly to be with the Lord. He was 31 years, 10 months and 19 days old. He is survived by his wife Kathryn, his parents, and three sisters.
