Hillsboro, Kansas. &#8212; A large number of friends and relatives attended the final services for Vernon F. Isaac, 20, at the Logan Mennonite church near Durham on Feb. 23. He was instantly killed at his home northwest of Durham on Feb. 19 by the accidental discharge of a shotgun.

It is believed that the young man was sawing off the barrel of the gun when it fired, the charge striking him in the head. However, he was alone at the time, so the exact circumstances will never be known. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Isaac.

ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGE OF SHOTGUN FATAL TO 20-YEAR-OLD YOUTH

Hillsboro, Kansas. — A large number of friends and relatives attended the final services for Vernon F. Isaac, 20, at the Logan Mennonite church near Durham on Feb. 23. He was instantly killed at his home northwest of Durham on Feb. 19 by the accidental discharge of a shotgun.
