Our mother, Katherine G. Epp, nee Buller, was born on September 28, 1871, in South Russia.  She was eight years old when she came to America with her parents, the Peter Bullers.  They settled in the vicinity of Henderson, Nebr., on May 17, 1891.  She was baptized upon the confession of her faith by the Elder Peter J. Friesen and accepted as a member of the Bethesda church.
 
On April 24, 1892, she was united in marriage to our father Heinrich G. Epp.  This union was blessed with 17 children, five of whom preceded her in death.
 
Our mother's health failed considerably during the last few years.  During the last month she stayed with her oldest daughter at Madrid, Nebr., where she was very ill for sic days, with dropsy.  She passed away on September 30, having attained the age of 68 years and 2 days.  Mourning her departure are six sons, six daughters, six daughters-in-;aw, four sons-in law, thirty grandchildren, seven brothers.
 
We wish to thank everyone for the kindness shown to our mother and us at this time. &#8212; The bereaved family.

Katherine G. Epp

Our mother, Katherine G. Epp, nee Buller, was born on September 28, 1871, in South Russia. She was eight years old when she came to America with her parents, the Peter Bullers. They settled in the vicinity of Henderson, Nebr., on May 17, 1891. She was baptized upon the confession of her faith by the Elder Peter J. Friesen and accepted as a member of the Bethesda church.
