Leonard Jantz passed away at the Deaconess hospital in Spokane, Wash., on Aug. 8, following a heart attack. he was a prominent wheat grower in the Ritzville, Wash., area.

On Sept. 16, 1933, he was united in marriage to Iva Schrag. He graduated from Odessa high school in 1928. He was a member of the Ruff and Menno Mennonite church and took an active part in its affairs.

The deceased was born at Ruff on Dec. 20, 1908, and was 38 years old at the time of his death. Surviving are his wife, Iva; one daughter Joy Bell, and two sons, Roger Dean and Gary Marshal; his father, Andrew Jantz, of Ritzville; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Precht of Omak, Mrs. Donald Robinson, Belton, Mont., Mrs. Clinton Classen of Ruff, and Malinda Jantz of Ritzville; and one brother, Walter Jantz of Ritzville.

The funeral service was held on Aug. 11 at the Menno Mennonite church, with Rev. P. D. Unruh of Colfax officiating. Pall bearers were Alvie Schrag, L. Schrag, C. Schrag, C. C. Classen, don Robinson and H. Precht. Interment was in the Menno cemetery.

LEONARD JANTZ

Leonard Jantz passed away at the Deaconess hospital in Spokane, Wash., on Aug. 8, following a heart attack. he was a prominent wheat grower in the Ritzville, Wash., area.
