Leichty, 83, prominent farmer and life-long resident of the Wayland, Iowa, community, passed away on Sept. 24 and was laid to rest on Sept. 27. final services were held at the Sugar Creek Mennonite church, with Rev., Simon Ginferich [sic Gingerich] officiating. One daughter and three sons survive.
