| + | — — Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church Monday afternoon for William P. Wiens, 58, widely known contractor and builder of this community. A large congregation attended the services, which were in charge of Rev. D. J. Unruh and Rev. J. E. Entz. Mr. Wiens passed away at his home on South Pine street Friday afternoon following an illness of several years. He leaves his wife, Minna, three children, Kenneth, Norman Dick, and Mary Margaret Wiens, two grandchildren, one sister and one brother, Mrs. Arthur D. Unruh of Hutchinson and Ed Wiens of Newton. Another brother, John, who was also a contractor here, died Jan. 9, of this year. |
