— Funeral services were held at the Pleasant Valley church, Harper, Kansas on Jan. 14, for Minister John Thut, a resident of Kansas since 1927. He had not been active in the ministry for a number of years due to ill health. For seven years before his death he lived with a son, Abe, at Clearwater, Kans.
