+ | — Funeral services took place at the Tabor Mennonite church north of Newton on Monday afternoon for P. J. Unruh, 79, with Rev. H. B. Schmidt and Rev. C. C. Wedel officiating. Mr. Unruh was well-known in the community, having lived on the same farm nine miles north of Newton for 54 years. He passed away at the home on Thursday morning March 13. He is survived by his wife and eight children: Simon Unruh, Mrs. Simon Schmidt, P. B. Unruh, and George B. Unruh, all of this community; Henry B. Unruh of Halstead; Mrs. Jake D. Krause of Meno, Okla.; Abe B. Unruh of Hutchinson; and Ted Unruh of the home. |
