Winkler, Manitoba. — Internal Injuries suffered the day before proved fatal on Nov. 1 to Jacob A. Thiessen, 69, of the Schanzenfeld village. He was struck by a car while walking along the road, and was rushed to the Bethel hospital here.

Mr. Thiessen came to Manitoba from Russia at the age of 14 and had lived here since with the exception of a short time spent in Sasketchewan [''sic'' Saskatchewan]. He leaves two daughters and one son.

VILLAGE RESIDENT, 69 DIES OF INJURIES

Winkler, Manitoba. — Internal Injuries suffered the day before proved fatal on Nov. 1 to Jacob A. Thiessen, 69, of the Schanzenfeld village. He was struck by a car while walking along the road, and was rushed to the Bethel hospital here.

Mr. Thiessen came to Manitoba from Russia at the age of 14 and had lived here since with the exception of a short time spent in Sasketchewan [sic Saskatchewan]. He leaves two daughters and one son.
