— Mrs. Amelia Ewy, 79, widow of Edward Ewy, passed away at her home in Halstead on Monday. Funeral services were held Wednesday forenoon at the Kaufman chapel in Halstead and the Arlington, Kans. Mennonite church, Rev. D. C. Wedel officiating. Mrs. Ewy had lived in Halstead since the death of her husband in 1925. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. E. J. Hege of Oxford, Kans., Mrs. Martha Berger of Arlington, and Miss Emma Ewy of Halstead; and one brother, Edward W. Miller of Little River.
