AMISH PIONEER PASSES

Milverton, Ont. — Funeral services for John J. Kuepfer, Sr., 87, were held recently at his home here, with bishop Joseph W. Kipfer and Amos Albrecht officiating.

Burial was made in the Amish cemetery located on the corner of the Keupfer [sic Kuepfer] farm.

Mr. Kuepfer, one of the oldest residents of this district, passed away quite suddenly and unexpectedly, although he had not felt his best during the previous week.

He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, seven sons and five daughters, 56 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and one sister. Two sons and two daughters preceded him in death.
