Funeral services were held in the Mennonite Brethren church there. The lad had been seriously ill for about a week and passed away at 5 o'clock on Tuesday morning, April 16. His parents now reside in Wichita but had formerly lived at Hillsboro, where they operated the Hillsboro Dairy. |

— The 15 year old Cornelius Eugene Funk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry E. funk, was laid to his final resting place at Hillsboro on Friday afternoon, April 19. Funeral services were held in the Mennonite Brethren church there. The lad had been seriously ill for about a week and passed away at 5 o'clock on Tuesday morning, April 16.
