Snowflake, Man. &#8212; An unusually large crowd gathered at the church here on Tuesday, Nov. 6, for the funeral of John Funk, local farmer who was killed instantly during the evening of Nov. 2 while returning from a business trip to town.

Trouble developed with his truck about one-half mile from home. A large, three-ton transport passing by struck his machine with such impact that it was hurled for some distance and his injuries were so severe that they brought about his immediate death. The accident happened toward nightfall.

CANADIAN FARMER, STRUCK BY PASSING TRUCK, KILLED INSTANTLY

Snowflake, Man. — An unusually large crowd gathered at the church here on Tuesday, Nov. 6, for the funeral of John Funk, local farmer who was killed instantly during the evening of Nov. 2 while returning from a business trip to town.

Trouble developed with his truck about one-half mile from home. A large, three-ton transport passing by struck his machine with such impact that it was hurled for some distance and his injuries were so severe that they brought about his immediate death. The accident happened toward nightfall.
