Wellman, Iowa. &#8212; The community was deeply shocked and grieved when news of the tragedy at the Charley Gingerich home become known. On Monday evening, January 14, he was found dead by his wife in the barnyard of their home, having been attacked by a bull.

Mr. Gingerich was 54 years old, the father of eight children and grandfather of eight grandchildren. One son, Clarence, is in CPS at Hill City, South Dakota, while the other children are at home or living near home.

FARMER FOUND DEAD IN BARNYARD AS RESULT OF ATTACK BY BULL

Wellman, Iowa. — The community was deeply shocked and grieved when news of the tragedy at the Charley Gingerich home become known. On Monday evening, January 14, he was found dead by his wife in the barnyard of their home, having been attacked by a bull.

Mr. Gingerich was 54 years old, the father of eight children and grandfather of eight grandchildren. One son, Clarence, is in CPS at Hill City, South Dakota, while the other children are at home or living near home.

Funeral services were held at East Union church Thursday, January 17, at 1:30 P. M.
