Hillsboro, Kans. — Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church of Lehigh on Nov. 6 for William D. Hiebert, farmer living west of Lehigh who was instantly killed in a grade crossing accident Nov. 3 only a quarter of a mile from his home.

He was returning home after taking his employer to Canton when his car was struck by the Santa Fe train on a branch line.

Mr. Hiebert, who was about 50 years of age, is survived by his wife and two sons, Earl Jacob and Howard Lee.

SERVICES HELD FOR KANSAS FARMER KILLED AT CROSSING

Hillsboro, Kans. — Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church of Lehigh on Nov. 6 for William D. Hiebert, farmer living west of Lehigh who was instantly killed in a grade crossing accident Nov. 3 only a quarter of a mile from his home.

He was returning home after taking his employer to Canton when his car was struck by the Santa Fe train on a branch line.

Mr. Hiebert, who was about 50 years of age, is survived by his wife and two sons, Earl Jacob and Howard Lee.
