— Funeral services were conducted at the First Mennonite church of Halstead on Sept 14 for Justus A. Farber, a resident of the Halstead community from 1886 until a few years ago, when he went to Sioux City, Iowa to live with a daughter. He passed away there on Sept. 11 at the age of 90. He was born in Germany in 1858 and came to this country in 1882. Surviving are a son, William A. Farber of Halstead, and two daughters, Mrs. A. W. Baumann of Burrton and Mrs. J. G. Buthman of Sioux City.
