Rev. Bressler was well-known throughout this area and elsewhere as a teacher, minister, and evangelist. He served the East Chestnut Street congregation in Lancaster for about 20 years, and formerly lived on Orange street, Lancaster.

LANCASTER COUNTY MINISTER-EVANGELIST CALLED BY DEATH

Smoketown, Pa. — Funeral services were held at the Gingerich Mennonite church in Lebanon county on Aug. 13 for Rev. John F. Bressler, 68, who died at his home in Mt. Zion on Aug. 10.

Rev. Bressler was well-known throughout this area and elsewhere as a teacher, minister, and evangelist. He served the East Chestnut Street congregation in Lancaster for about 20 years, and formerly lived on Orange street, Lancaster.
