Funeral services for Mrs. Frieda Regier Entz, 64, widely known Women's Missionary Association leader in the General Conference, were held at the First Mennonite church of Newton at 5:30 Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. D. J. Unruh and Rev. J. E. Entz. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery.

Mrs. Entz died at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital early Thursday morning, June 30, after having been ill of heart trouble for about one year.

A daughter of the late Missionary and Mrs. H. R. Voth, Mrs. Entz was born at the Darlington, Okla., mission on June 12, 1885. Through her father she came into possession of some of the rarest relics and records of Indian life existing in America. Her first husband, John G. Regier of Newton, died in 1930 and in 1934 she was married to G. B. Entz, who now survives. Among the close relatives surviving are also her mother, three brothers and five sisters. For about 35 years she served as a Sunday School teacher in the First Mennonite church of Newton, of which she became a member soon after her first marriage. She contributed liberally to a number of benevolent institutions here and elsewhere and was active in Mennonite relief and mission work.

Widely Known Worker Called Away in Death

FRIEDA REGIER ENTZ DIED AT BETHEL HOSPITAL JUNE 30

Funeral services for Mrs. Frieda Regier Entz, 64, widely known Women's Missionary Association leader in the General Conference, were held at the First Mennonite church of Newton at 5:30 Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. D. J. Unruh and Rev. J. E. Entz. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery.
