The accident occurred as an older brother backed the car out of the garage and failed to see his sister, whom he had just left on the porch.

GIRL, 4, LOSES LIFE UNDER WHEELS OF FAMILY CAR

Mountain Lake, Minn. — Violet Mae, the four-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abe P. Ewert, suffered fatal injuries when run over by the family car in the driveway at the Ewert home nine miles northwest of here on June 25.

The accident occurred as an older brother backed the car out of the garage and failed to see his sister, whom he had just left on the porch.
