HEART ATTACK FATAL TO BISHOP AT STUARTS DRAFT, VA.
Stuarts Draft, Va. — One of the largest funerals held here in recent years took place on April 30, when Bishop Simon D. Schrock was laid to his final earthly resting place. Friends came from a number of other states, including Illinois, Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
Bishop Schrock died unexpectedly of a heart attack on April 28 as he was boarding a bus in Staunton, where he had gone on business. He was 59 years of age.
Officiating at the services were Eli Beachy of Arthur, Ill., Roy Nisley of Dover, Del., and Lewis Beachy of Oakland, Md.
