10 YEAR OLD BOY THROWN FROM TRACTOR, FATALLY HURT
Kalona, Iowa. — Funeral services were conducted at the Fairview A. M. church near here on Dec. 30 for Marvin Jay Gingerich, 10, who was fatally injured in a tractor accident at the farm home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gingerich, two days earlier.
There were no witnesses, but it is believed the youth was driving the tractor in the farmyard when he hit a bump and was thrown off. He was pinned against the road grader, and died soon afterward.
Survivors include the parents, a twin brother, Marlin Ray, four other brothers, four sisters, and the grandparents, the Oba Millers and Dan J. Gingerichs.
