He is survived by his widow, the former Lena Wiebe; seven children ranging in ages from 19 years to six months: Sylvia, Lowell, Marilyn, Jackie Lee, Tim, Garry and Darlene; by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Winters of Winkler; and by five brothers and four sisters. His brothers Peter, Charles, Ben, Harry, and Jake, and his wife's brother, Mr. Wiebe, acted as pall bearers. |

FATHER OF SEVEN DIED WHILE ON TRIP WITH FAMILY
Winkler, Man. — Funeral services were held for John Winters, 49, farmer, in the M. B. Church here at 2:30 p. m. on Thursday, August 5, with Rev. H. S. Voth assisted by Rev. W. Wright, Plum Coulee, officiating.
Mr. Winters passed away at Wallace, Idaho, en route home from a vacation with his family at Vancouver, B. C. He is survived by his widow, the former Lena Wiebe; seven children ranging in ages from 19 years to six months: Sylvia, Lowell, Marilyn, Jackie Lee, Tim, Garry and Darlene; by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Winters of Winkler; and by five brothers and four sisters.
