— At Hillsboro, Kansas, year-and-a-half-old Clement Pankratz, son of Mr. and mrs. B. F. Pankratz, passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, after a two-weeks illness from diphtheria. The lad's mother also was dangerously ill from diphtheria, while his father and older sister fortunately were spared of this very contagious disease.
