J. D. Mininger, well known minister and superintendent of the Mennonite Gospel Mission, Kansas City, Kans., died there early Saturday morning, Jan. 4, after suffering for about 12 hours from an heart attack.

Rev. Mininger was born June 9, 1879, at Sellersville, Pa., the son of Jos. and Elizabeth Mininger.

He was widely known as missionary and evangelist. Following several years as superintendent of the Old People's Home at Marshallville, O., and a term as evangelist and Bible teacher, he became superintendent of the Mennonite Gospel Mission in 1912.

Funeral services were held at Kansas city last week.

CITY MISSIONARY J. D. MININGER SUDDENLY CALLED AWAY IN DEATH, JAN. 4

J. D. Mininger, well known minister and superintendent of the Mennonite Gospel Mission, Kansas City, Kans., died there early Saturday morning, Jan. 4, after suffering for about 12 hours from an heart attack.

Rev. Mininger was born June 9, 1879, at Sellersville, Pa., the son of Jos. and Elizabeth Mininger.

He was widely known as missionary and evangelist. Following several years as superintendent of the Old People's Home at Marshallville, O., and a term as evangelist and Bible teacher, he became superintendent of the Mennonite Gospel Mission in 1912.

Funeral services were held at Kansas city last week.
