She had gone to the garden to cut lettuce for her children and guests of the Mennonite Brethren conference, which opened its session at Mountain Lake on that day. Funeral services were held at the M. B. church,of which she was a member.

— Rarely does the death of an individual occur in a garden, as in the instance of Grandmother H. H. Ewert of Mountain Lake, Minn., who died at her home there Wednesday afternoon, June 6. She had gone to the garden to cut lettuce for her children and guests of the Mennonite Brethren conference, which opened its session at Mountain Lake on that day. Funeral services were held at the M. B. church,of which she was a member.
