Funeral services for Doris E. (Schmidt) Dirksen, 57, of rural Goessel, are being held May 31 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church near Goessel, with Milton Harder officiating. Burial was in the church cemtery [sic]. A homemaker, she died May 28 at her home. Surviving are her husband, Willard; one son, Calvin of Goessel; one daughter, Jo Fletchal of Hutchinson; and three grandchildren. Four brothers preceded her in death.
