Because of the climate, the funeral was held as soon as possible on the following day. Missionaries from the surrounding district attended the sad but challenging service. A memorial service for bishop Wenger was arranged also at Mellinger's church at Lancaster, Pa., to be held Sunday afternoon, June 24. |
