MRS. AGNES K. SCHMITT

Mrs. Agnes K. Schmitt, daughter of Jacob and Helene Foth Dirks, was born on July 17, 1865, in Michelin, Russia. She departed this life on November 12, 1944.

With her parents and sisters she migrated to Kansas in 1873. She was baptized by Elder Balzer and remained a member of the Alexanderwohl Church until her marriage to Henry S. Schmitt on April 14, 1889.

The following children mourn her passing: John D. of Wichita; Mrs. Bertha Penner, Benton; Marvin, Oak Park, Ill.; Mrs. Agnes Dyck, Newton; Waldo, Joliet, Ill.; Helen Wichita; Marguerite of the home in Moundridge; Dannie, McPherson; and Rueben, Dallas, Texas.

Three sisters survive her: Mrs. D. J. Unruh, Newton; Mrs. J. R. Thierstein and Mrs. P. R. Voth, North Newton.
