BABY DROWNS IN TANK

Hillsboro, Kansas. — Funeral services were held at the Ebenfeld church near here Sunday, Aug. 6, for little Judith Diane Goentzel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Goentzel, who had drowned in a water tank at her farm home.

The one-year-seven-months old child wandered around while at play and was found in the tank with life extinct before the mother and older brothers and sisters could avoid the tragedy. Resuscitation efforts of a physician proved of no avail.
