Altona, man., May 3. &#8212; Walter Fehr, aged two, son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Fehr, Schoenau, was severely burned Wednesday evening when a lamp presumably exploded in the child's bedroom setting fire to the bedclothing. Th parents were away from home at the time. Other children in the house heard the child's screams and the hired man also rushed in form outside and extinguished the flames.

The parents arrived at home about that time and immediately rushed him to the Children's hospital, Winnipeg, where he died shortly after being admitted.

Funeral services were held from the Bergfeld Rudnerwiede church Sunday, April 30. Rev. C. Stoesz officiated. &#8212; Altona Echo.

Altona, man., May 3. — Walter Fehr, aged two, son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Fehr, Schoenau, was severely burned Wednesday evening when a lamp presumably exploded in the child's bedroom setting fire to the bedclothing. Th parents were away from home at the time. Other children in the house heard the child's screams and the hired man also rushed in form outside and extinguished the flames.
