He was a self-employed environmental health engineer. Survivors include his wife, Muriel, news service editor of the General Conference Mennonite Church; a daughter, Tami of Newton; two sons, Therron and Javan of Lincoln, Neb.; two brothers, Ralph and Frank of El Dorado; and three sisters, Rose Mary Jones of El Dorado, Ruby Norris of St. John and Mildred Fowler of Salina.

Memorial services were held April 10 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church 23 miles east of Newton for Theodore W. Stackley, 48, of Newton who died April 5. He was a self-employed environmental health engineer. Survivors include his wife, Muriel, news service editor of the General Conference Mennonite Church; a daughter, Tami of Newton; two sons, Therron and Javan of Lincoln, Neb.; two brothers, Ralph and Frank of El Dorado; and three sisters, Rose Mary Jones of El Dorado, Ruby Norris of St. John and Mildred Fowler of Salina.
