INDIANA FARMER FOUND DEAD, CLOTHES BURNED OFF HIS BODY

Berne, Ind., Jan. 19. — Samuel Schwartz, 69, Amish farmer residing in the Grabill community in Allen county, was burned to death Tuesday afternoon while trying to beat out a spreading brush fire on his farm.

A neighbor found his body last evening, with nearly all of the clothing burned off. A heart attack from overexertion is believed to have caused him to fall into the fire. He was the fourth person in Allen county to die of burns in four days. — Berne Witness.
