Hillsboro, Kan., Jan. 11. — The funeral services for P. J. Penner were held Friday, January 4, 1929, at the Mennonite brethren Church, at Hillsboro.

Ministers speaking in the church were Rev. Peter Nickel, Rev. Krauker, of Oklahoma and Rev. Lorenz. Rev. Nicker and Rev. Krauker spoke in the German language.

Rev. Plenert, of Johannestal spoke at the cemetery south of town where Mr. Penner was laid to rest until the glorious morn. — Hillsboro Star.
