TOWN'S OLDEST CITIZEN DIES
Hillsboro, Kans. — The 96 year old Peter C. Baltzer, who was this community's oldest citizen, died here Wednesday, Sept. 22. Mr. Baltzer, who was a few years short of completing a century, has seen much history in making, experiencing drouths and years of plenty, depressions as well as years of prosperity.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 26, at the local Mennonite Brethren church. A number of children here and in California survive.
