News of General Interest

— At Wright, Iowa, on July 4, Daniel K. Unsicker, a member of the Wayland Mennonite church, died after a week of serious illness. He lived to the ripe old age of 86 years. During his lifetime he had many varied interests — having been a farmer, grain man, lumber yard owner, bank president and one-time candidate for governor of the state of Iowa. Mrs. Unsicker and one son, Carl, preceded him in death.
