— A large funeral was held at the M. B. church in Hillsboro last Sunday when Rev. Henry Toews was laid to his final resting place there that afternoon. Rev. Toews died suddenly Thursday evening. Returning from a walk up town he felt ill and said that he perhaps shouldn't have gone. Death followed soon afterward. He was well known in and around Newton.
