Suffering a severe skull fracture, the boy never regained consciousness until he died on the following morning at the Missillon City Hospital. he is survived by his grief-stricken parents, four brothers and three sisters.

KICK FROM HORSE FATAL TO FIFTEEN YEAR OLD BOY AT ORRVILLE, OHIO

Orrville, Ohio. — Kicked by a horse while doing chores, Melvin Stanley Sommers, 15 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sommers, was fatally injured Friday evening, Jan. 21.

Suffering a severe skull fracture, the boy never regained consciousness until he died on the following morning at the Missillon City Hospital. he is survived by his grief-stricken parents, four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were in charge of Ministers Stanford Mumaw, I. J. Buckwalter and O.N. Johns. Interment took place in Martins cemetery.
