MOTHER OF MINISTER LAID TO REST RECENTLY AT MOUNTAIN LAKE, MINNESOTA

Mt. Lake, March 16. — Mrs. Katherina Wiens, 76, mother of the Rev. H. E. Wiens, died Sunday morning. Funeral services for Mrs. Wiens were held yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, from the local M. B. church of which she was a loyal member. Interment was made in the Carson M. B. cemetery.

Born in Friedensdorf, So9uth Russia, December 10, 1862, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heinrich Voth, she came to America in 1876.

She was baptized by Elder Heirnich Voth at the age of 20 and joined the [Mennonite] Brethren church to which membership she remained faithful until her death. — Mt. Lake Observer.
